I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner qualified to practice psychiatry, diagnose, treat, and prescribe up-to-date psychiatric medications for children, adolescents, and adults.
I began my career over 20 years ago, helping and assisting clients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. I see my profession as a ministry, helping those who struggle mentally, physically, and emotionally. After spending time helping people with their medical and emotional problems, I realized this was my ministry and calling. I then obtained my nursing degree in 2005, continuing my education until obtaining my Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
I provide a client-centered approach that allows clients greater responsibility over treatment decisions and recovery planning. My practice specialties include but are not limited to ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, Panic Attacks, and Insomnia. I provide an in-depth understanding of my patients by addressing their physical, cultural, spiritual, emotional, social, medical, and psychological needs. I hold myself to a higher standard, Therefore, promoting simplicity, honesty, and integrity, in a safe, caring, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. My goal for my clients is always to achieve hope and a positive outcome.

I have 13 years of experience in Healthcare as a Radiographer working within large medical facilities across the country. My most challenging experience of being on the frontline during the recent pandemic gave me the greatest learning opportunity concerning the mental health needs of individuals. I realized that we as providers need to be more proactive regarding the mental health needs of society. My degree in Radiologic Technology provides physical support. However, my BSN in Theology which I have been using for the last 30 years provides the spiritual and psychological aspects to help others suffering from mental health disorders. Therefore, I realized that people of today need a Holistic approach to their overall mental and medical well-being. Elroi Mental Health Services is focused on the right direction toward success for all, from the Practitioners to the Patient. I am grateful to be part of a focused and caring practice that will provide hope, care, compassion, and evidence-based practices for all our clients.

Having started as a Certified Nursing Assistant over 10 years ago, I have since gained further experience, empathy, and an approachable sensibility toward customer support and client relations. After working in Mutiple areas of telecommunication commerce, medical transportation services, public and volunteer projects, and life insurance, God's provision has positioned me here in a place where I can utilize those amassed skills in a way that is functional, personable, and compassionate. I am elated to be an addition to this team as a starting point toward assisting those with a necessity for mental health treatment to get the care that is essential, vital, and merited. We are perfectly imperfect people here at Elroi Mental Health Services with a true heart to make a difference if given the opportunity, congruent to the love extended to us by grace. As the mental health crisis goes on the rise, I am proud to be partnered with a fellowship of like-minded individuals who provide psychiatric mental health service to a population that may often perceive themselves dispirited or unseen, and a space that stands as a reminder of Elroi, "God See's Me."
